yes, a MDC*BETTER HOMES transaction appeared on my son's credit card. He is a 20-year old college student and would never have ordered this magazine. I think it was done premptively before fraud was committed to see if the card would "work" - right after that there were multiple fraudulent charges.

$15.90 charged to my debit card 9/13/16. I don't know what this charge is for considering I DID NOT authorize renewing any magazine subscriptions this year, and have never authorized any automatic payments.

update: Did some more searching, found customer service number for Better Homes and garden.... When I called and gave my name and address it wasn't hard at all to find out when I ordered and set up auto payments, (on the website). I simply forgot. And even so, I was able to cancel my subscription and have the charge reversed.

Was charged 12.99 MDC*Shape. What the heck is this? No email notification and no permission from me to do this. Sept 29/16. I would NEVER sign up for auto charge. Not happy

Just saw this charge on my credit card, I DID NOT authorize this charge of $14.00. How are they getting away with doing this to so many people ????? They have got to be stopped somehow. I'm calling my credit card company in the morning and disputing this charge AND getting my card replaced.

I had a charge of $16.05 on my account that not only did I not authorize but they somehow charged it using my new debit card that I didn't give them. The debit card I used 2 years ago to subscribe had expired. What I'd like to know is how did they get my new debit card number?!? I went to the Better Hones and Gardens website and canceled my subscription as well as sending them a message telling them to reverse this charge but I haven't heard anything back from them yet and I can't find a phone number to call them. This really pisses me off. I don't like people or companies helping themselves to my money. I'll get my money back and I won't be reading BH&G again.

I have a charge of $12.51 from MDC*BetterHomes. Since other people have ones for Shape, etc., I think it's a magazine subscription--but I'm not subscribed to any magazines.

I have a charge on my latest Bank of America card statement for $15.00 from MDC BETTER HOMES 800-374-4244 CO . I didn't renew my subscription, and don't know why this appeared. Stop charging without my permission.
